Shapemeans GmbH, founded in 2016 and located in Basel, Switzerland, is a leading company in medical image analysis, facial image manipulations, machine learning, and AI-supported design.

All four co-founders – Ghazi Bouabene, Thomas Gerig, Marcel Lüthi, and Andreas Morel-Forster – are alumni of the Graphics and Vision (Gravis) research group at the University of Basel.

We are actively involved in the development of the open-source software solutions Scalismo and Scalismo-Faces.
